Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage, crafted with real hickory wood for a rich, smoky flavor, is perfect for quick and delicious appetizers. These cheesy sausage boats are easy to make and pair perfectly with your favorite dipping sauce!
Ingredients:
- (1) 16 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage (Links)
- Mt. Olive Jalapeño Slices
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Cut each Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage link in half lengthwise, then slice each half sideways to create "boats."
- Place a jalapeño slice on top of each sausage boat.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the jalapeño and sausage.
- Arrange the sausage boats on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the sausage is heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce—we recommend mustard!
