Bright Leaf Piggy Pinwheels (Smoked Sausage)

A mouth-watering twist on dogs in a blanket! We've taken Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage and wrapped it in a soft and flaky crescent roll, then coated it in a buttery garlic seasoning for an extra pop of flavor. These tasty treats are sure to have your taste buds spinning!

Ingredients:

• (1) 16 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage
• (1) Container of Crescent Rolls
• (1) Stick of Butter
• Garlic Powder
• Parmesan Cheese
• Like spicy food? add Slap Ya Mama seasoning

Cooking Instructions:

1. Slice Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage into 1-inch thick pieces
2. Using the crescent roll dough sheet, cut strips about 2 inches wide, roll them into a rope, and stretch as needed.
3. Wrap the dough rope around the pieces of Smoked Sausage - two total times around
4. Melt a stick of butter in a microwave-safe dish and add garlic powder (this is where you can add the Slap Ya Mama seasoning - 1 tsp.)
5. Brush the mixture over the pinwheel
6. Sprinkle with grated parmesan
7. Bake at 350 degrees f until golden brown
8. Enjoy!
