Bright Leaf Pig Shots (Bacon, Red Hots and Smoked Sausage)

This is how you make North Carolina Pig Shots! Delicious Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage or Red Hots wrapped in Bacon topped with your favorite cheeses and smothered in BBQ sauce!

Ingredients & Toppings:

  • (1) 16 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage
  • (1) 1 lb. Pack of Bright Leaf Red Hots
  • (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Bacon
  • Pimento Cheese or cream cheese / mozzarella
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Toothpicks

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut smoked sausage / and or Red Hots into 4 or 5 pieces
  2. Cut Bright Leaf Bacon in half and wrap smoked sausage and/or Red Hots, so it's like a cup
  3. Fill the hole on top of the smoked sausage or Red Hot with your choice of cheese(s)
  4. Season pig shots with Redneck BBQ Lab rub
  5. Put on the grill at medium heat
  6. Drizzle Redneck BBQ Lab sauce over the pig shots
  7. Close the grill and let it cook till the bacon is done and crispy
  8. Take a bite
  9. Enjoy!
